Hello Parents /Guardians
We had a great week with Fitstep Ninja! Students were able to take part in this Ninja obstacle course in their Physical Education classes. Our Ninja trainers were amazing at engaging our students in some fun activities. Thank you to Parent Council for making this happen for Ernest Morrow students.
It was awesome seeing many of you at the student/parent conferences last night and this morning. It is so important that we as teachers collaborate with you to support your child in their educational journey. I truly believe it takes a village to educate our students. Thank you for partnering with us!
- December 9-13 – Merry Morrow – This is such an exciting time for our students at Ernest Morrow School. Students will also be able to wrap their gifts at one of the wrapping stations. Each grade will be given a time slot to enter the ‘store’, which is restocked daily. Students enjoy the opportunity to buy some gifts for their family and friends.

New Teacher for Grade 9 Math (9-2 and 9-3)
We have the exciting opportunity to hire Paula Mott, who comes to us highly recommended. Ms. Mott will take over two of Ms. Lauzier’s Math classes, which will provide Ms. Lauzier with the flexibility needed to work as our school’s Math Coach. While Ms. Lauzier will still have a key role in grade 9 math, she will also focus on providing foundational skills in numeracy to individuals and groups of students’, grades 7-9, who will benefit from her expertise.
Ms. Mott will begin working with students December 2, 2024. Those families that will be impacted by the change, have already received phone calls home.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the main office at 403-777-7800.
