Thank you to our staff and students for another great week of learning and growth at our school.

We wanted to take a moment to highlight the outstanding work of our Physical Education teaching team. They continue to create engaging, inclusive, and skill-building opportunities for students across all grade levels. Through a wide range of activities and sports, our staff are helping students develop not only physical skills, but also teamwork, resilience, and confidence. It’s been great to see so many students trying new activities and building a lifelong appreciation for being active.

We’re also excited to share that next week we will be welcoming a group from the City of Calgary who will be working with our students to introduce and teach the fundamentals of cricket. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to experience a sport that may be new to many of them.

We are proud to share that our recent band performance at FLHS was a great success. Our students represented the school with pride, demonstrating their hard work, dedication, and musical growth. Thank you to our band staff for their leadership and to families for their ongoing support. Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome our feeder schools next week as they visit for upcoming performances. It will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate music and build connections across our school communities.
