Hello Parents and Guardians,

It has been a busy week for the Mustangs! On Monday, our students enjoyed a presentation from Pearl White Quill who shared music and stories. Wednesday, students and staff participated in Pink Shirt Day with a focus on doing ONE extra kind gesture for the day.  Kindness matters!  It was nice to see a little ‘extra’ on Wednesday.  It has also been fun seeing the many fans in the stands at our volleyball games.  I know it means so much to our students and coaches.  Go Mustangs!

Reminder…

Pick up and Drop Off

Please continue to drop off your students in the family parking lot.  There should be no traffic past the signs that state “No Drop Off Zone”.  Only staff, buses and taxis should drive into the main staff parking lot.  This is to ensure student safety in this often congested area.  Next year we will be adding a couple more buses to transport student to Ernest Morrow.

You may have also noticed the closure to a fence opening by the grade 6 doors.  We ask that students access the school through the front and move around to their allotted door.  Please remind your child not to climb the fence.  We have had a couple student injuries and again want to ensure safety for all students.

  • March 21 – Student Led Conferences 4:30 – 8:00
  • March 22 – Student Led Conferences 8:30 – 12:00
  • March 25 – April 1 – Spring Break – No School
  • April 2 - Classes Resume
