I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Andie Shaffer on her new role for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Ms. Shaffer will be joining the staff and students at Bowness High School as their new Assistant Principal. While we are excited for her new opportunity, Ms. Shaffer will be deeply missed at Ernest Morrow. During her years as Assistant Principal, she has left an indelible mark on our school community, building a legacy of leadership and dedication.
Grade 7
Next week the Calgary Fire Department will be providing Grade 7 students with a fire and life safety presentation and virtual reality activity. Please read, sign, and return the form to your student's homeroom teacher on Monday.

Please be aware that high school tours and course selection information will be coming for your child in the few weeks as we prepare for your child’s transition to high school.

Child and Youth Well-Being Family and Caregiver Fall/Winter Series
The Calgary Board of Education invites all parents and guardians to join us in a pre-recorded and live online series focusing on child and youth well-being. These sessions will be hosted in partnership with experts from Alberta Health Services and Recovery Alberta and will explore topics such as Peer Pressure, Healthy Relationships, Mental Health for Highly Sensitive Teens, and navigating Parent-Teen relationships.
Acting on feedback from participants who joined us during our live online sessions over the past two years, moving forward we invite all guardians and parents to listen to the pre-recorded or live sessions at their convenience.
