Students should try to have a good night’s sleep prior to the exam and a healthy breakfast. Please remind your child that cell phones are not allowed in the classroom during the writing of the Provincial Achievement test. Phones MUST be kept in the student’s locker or backpack.

Grade 9 Farewell Information – June 25

Monday, June 24 - Practice walking the stage
Tuesday June 25 – Ceremony in the afternoon from 1:30 to 3:08. Students will meet in their homerooms and then move to the gym.

The celebration will occur on Tuesday, June 25 from 1:30 – 3:08 PM in the main gym. Attendees will need to be on a pre-determined guest list and sign-in at the main entrance. Up to 2 eligible guests per student, which includes guardians and family members. Small children, who are dependents of guests, do not need to be included on the guest list. Any guests under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult.

Reminders

Please make sure your child brings a lock for their bike. While we do have a bike cage that is secured during the school hours, a lock is still needed to deter the loss of a bike.
We are seeing many water guns coming into the school. While they are fun to play with outside, they can make quite a mess for our custodians inside the school. Please have your child keep their water guns at home for outside play.
