Hello Parents and Guardians,

It is hard to believe that we are entering our last week of the school year. The Provincial Achievement Tests for the grade 6s and 9s are completed and now we can look forward to celebrating the grade 9s this coming week. It has truly been a great year.  I continue to enjoy working with such amazing staff in this vibrant community.  I have appreciated getting to know our students and their families and hope to continue to make connections in the coming 2024-2025 school year.  The first day back is Thursday, August 29.  I will send more information out in the future weeks…but let’s finish this year first.  J

Important Dates this week…

  • Monday, June 24 - Practice ‘walking the stage’
  • Monday, June 24 – Special Education Travel Training and Activity
  • Tuesday, June 25 – Ceremony in the afternoon from 1:30 to 3:08. Students will meet in their homerooms and then move to the gym.
  • Wednesday, June 26 – Grade 9s to Calaway Park
  • Wednesday, June 26 – Report cards can be viewed online
  • Thursday, June 27 – LAST DAY OF SCHOOL - Friday Schedule (half day) students are out at 12:15 pm
  • Thursday, June 27 – Appeals day from 12:30 – 4:00
  • Friday, June 28 – NO SCHOOL

Grade 9 Farewell Information – June 25, 2024

The celebration will occur on Tuesday, June 25 from 1:30 – 3:08 PM in the main gym. Attendees will need to be on a pre-determined guest list and sign-in at the main entrance. Up to two eligible guests per student, which includes guardians and family members. Small children, who are dependents of guests, do not need to be included on the guest list. Any guests under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult.
