Hello,

What a privilege it has been to be the principal of such an amazing, diverse and dynamic school.  Ernest Morrow is remarkable because your students!  I am so proud of their accomplishments this year.  I have watched them participate, lead, and challenge themselves to excel in their core classes, CTF and Fine Arts courses, Athletics, Math competitions, clubs, drumming groups, leadership, and so much more. 

One of the highlights for me this year has been the beautiful murals that I see everyday as I drive into the parking lot. The murals remind me of who a mustang is, and how all who enter through the doors of Ernest Morrow, can find meaning within the teachings of the medicine wheel.

• The yellow mural represents the spirit domain, a reminder that each of us has purpose and we all need to do our best to start each day in a good way.
• The red mural represents the heart domain, a reminder that we belong to a community that is bigger than we are, and we all deserve to be treated with compassion and love.
• The black mural represents the body domain, a reminder that all living beings and the natural world are interconnected.
• The white mural represents the mind domain, a reminder that we are in control of our own direction in life.
