Did you know…

Ernest Morrow has its own school psychologist on site, Kim Barber. CBE psychologists apply their psychological and educational expertise to support students in achieving academic success, psychological health, and social/emotional well-being.  The main purpose at Ernest Morrow is to assist the school in addressing barriers to improve student success.  The psychologist will provide a number of different services. Some examples that may take place include informal consultation (multidisciplinary, not specific to a student), professional learning, and class wide social-emotional learning. If a student is put forward by the learning team, targeted intervention may also take place (with parent permission ONLY). Targeted interventions could include psychological assessment, individual counselling, small group intervention, and formal consultation (specific to a student).  If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact the school principal (Ms. Schwartz) or the psychologist directly at 403-777-7800.

REMINDERS

Drop-offs and Pick-up

PLEASE drive safe in the parking lot when you are entering to pick up and drop of students.  There is a lot of congestion in our small staff parking lot and patience and caution is needed to ensure our students are safe.  There is no space for speeding and passing other drivers.   Parents and Guardians are asked not to drive up to the school to drop off their child, but to park in the family parking lot where students can safely exit the vehicle.   Please keep the area in front of the main doors clear for students who are arriving in busses and taxis.   Let’s keep our students safe!

Online Forms | Action Required

Online Forms | Action Required

Each year, schools have a variety of forms that parents / legal guardians are required to complete or review and update, some of which are paper and others online. In CBE, the forms in an online format (SchoolEngage) are:

  • Demographic Verification – 2024-25 – This form includes your child’s personal information as well as parent / legal guardian contact information.
  • Citizenship Information Update - 2024-25 – This form becomes available if you change your child’s citizenship information on the Demographic Verification form.
  • Annual Authorization - 2024-25 – This form provides consent for school and district use of personal information.

SchoolEngage is one of the applications found in your MyCBE account. This is the same account that you use to pay fees, view academic information, book school conferences, etc.

If you do not have a MyCBE account, on the MyCBE page click on Create a MyCBE Account. For online help refer, to MyCBE - Creating an Account (includes instructions and a video).

To complete these forms:

1 | sign in to your MyCBE account

2 | click on the SchoolEngage icon

3 | select the form

4 | complete or review and update the form

5 | click on Submit to send the form electronically to the school

6 | repeat steps 3-5 for each form

Please submit the Demographic Verification and Annual Authorization forms in SchoolEngage for your child by Thursday, September 26.
