Dear Ernest Morrow Families  

Welcome back to the 2025–2026 school year! We are so excited to have our students, staff, and families together again, and we look forward to an amazing year of learning and growth.  

This past week, our school community came together to engage in Wellness Week. Students participated in activities focused on building healthy habits, fostering positive relationships, and supporting overall well-being. It was wonderful to see students practicing mindfulness, engaging in physical activities, and learning strategies to care for themselves and others.  

Looking ahead to next week, we are excited to share that boys’ and girls’ soccer has officially started. Students who are playing are encouraged to check the practice schedule included below. We look forward to a great season of teamwork, skill development, and school spirit.  

All students will remain on campus for lunch next week.  We will be releasing our lunch time plans in the coming weeks. 

Upcoming Reminders  

• Meet the Teacher Night – Join us on Thursday, September 18 from 6:00–7:30 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers, learn more about classroom routines, and strengthen the school-home partnership.  
• School Council Meeting – Our first School Council meeting will be held on Monday, September 22 at 5:30 p.m. here at the school. We warmly invite all parents and guardians to attend, as your voice and input are important to the success of our school community.  

As always, we encourage families to continue supporting wellness at home by sharing daily reflections, spending time together, and encouraging healthy routines. Your partnership helps reinforce the important work we do at school.
